Dirty Loops do it again.
Described in press releases as a “Jazz-soul Lothario”, Josh Bevan lives up to that reputation on Golden.
A combination of Dream Theater folk-prog vibes and some Biffy Clyro-esque harmonies, all kicked off with some Imogen Heap atmospherics and John Mayer-style acoustic pop mastery. That’s one way to describe this track – but it would be far more accurate to describe it as something uniquely and distinctively Into Color.
Israeli prog group Anakdota have already earnt TMMP’s respect through intense previous releases The Girl Next Door and Late – and on this, their latest offering, Anakdota take a slightly more laid-back and relaxed approach.
As firm TMMP favourites, Following Foxes can do no wrong. After just one gig and a single song, Following Foxes inspired me so deeply that they instantly earnt a place on
London’s randomness never ceases to surprise me. In summer, street performers can be found everywhere – but having spent so much time passing rappers, dancers, and human statues, it takes a lot to attract a spoilt Londoner’s attention. It’s safe to say, then, that Simeon Baker has a lot to offer.

It would take a hard-hearted writer to heap criticism on a track called Feels So Good – and when it’s pulled off this well, there’s really no reason to in the first place. Upbeat, bouncy, and irresistibly catchy, this is a great comeback track from a band nearly stopped in its tracks by major brain surgery.
