Josh Bevan – ‘Golden’ [Review]
Described in press releases as a “Jazz-soul Lothario”, Josh Bevan lives up to that reputation on Golden. This EP’s opening title track has more than a touch of Disney magic to it; Face Time is a straight-ahead funky summer-and-sunshine tune with plenty of additional jazz harmony spice; and Tell The Town gets grooving with awesome organ and reggae backbeat bounces. If your significant other is a music fan, this is a great EP to soundtrack your…you know…intimate moments (sorry, minutes).
