The Future Dub Project – ‘Victory’ [Review]
Here at The Musical Melting Pot, we often give our wholehearted attention to musicians who exist on the densely complex end of the musical spectrum – but every now and then, it just feels good to leave the mind-melting stuff on the shelf and dive into something a little more luxurious. And if only one word could be used to describe Victory, it is ‘luxurious’. Listening to this three-track EP, I find myself wishing I was in a packed club venue bouncing to beats rather than chained to my laptop in the service of supporting excellent music. But there’ll be time for that later. Right now, this EP is more than enough to soothe my muscles and mind while making my heart beat that little bit faster. The perfect EP for a night in with a significant other, Victory is slick, professional, and a worthy addition to any serious music lover’s collection.
