Massmatiks – ‘Gunning For You’ [Review]
If Audioslave had been British and lairy, they’d have sounded a lot like Massmatiks.
These guys have been around the UK’s rock underground for a fair while, and after two years of gestation Massmatiks have emerged again with Gunning For You. It’s a big, big tune, kicking into hulking riffs driving lyrics set on taking out the side-eyeing conformist bullies of the world.
Do Massmatiks have what it takes to put their own money where their mouths are? Absofuckinglutely. The only downside to listening to Gunning For You was that when it was done, Soundcloud shuffled me on to this shit:
